Only 3 days before the European Orienteering Championships (EOC 2023) kicks off in Trentino-Veneto (Italy). Everyone is getting sharp for one of the main goals of the season, where we expect an exciting event with very high quality among the contenders, tricky orienteering, and many narrow streets where the top orienteers will show their best skills.
ROUTECHOICE LEG – sprint final (#1)
The intricate and narrow streets of the beautiful “Citta Antica” in Verona will delight orienteers who make it to the finals. In this charming environment, one of the greatest challenges athletes will face is the route choice legs, where there are many options, making it difficult to make the best decision while running at high speed and maintaining focus in order to execute the planned route efficiently.
In today’s leg, we have a route-choice sample, where there are some different options. Can you find the best route? Yes, I think so, but… how fast can you find it?! Try it!
