The time is flying, and there are only 2 days left before the European Orienteering Championships (EOC 2023) kicks off in Trentino-Veneto (Italy). We want to contribute to making a more comfortable waiting with some route-choices challenges in the maps where the main races will be held. Let’s go for the second one!
ROUTECHOICE LEG – sprint final (#2)
In a cityscape as flat as the one that will be used in the final, additional fences will be a significant asset for the course-setters, and we believe that we will see many of them throughout the course. This fact will pose an added challenge for the athletes during the route choice legs, where slowing down or even stopping for a moment is likely to be a wise investment in selecting the optimal route.
